Genshin Impact has witnessed exponential growth since its launch, and the game continues to be one of the most popular games out there. miHoYo has a long roadmap for the game with an updating slated to release every six weeks, adding new regions, characters, weapons, and quests.
The next major update for the game, the 1.4 Update, is slated to release on March 17th. The Update will be adding tons of new content, quests, and more. The much-coveted character, Venti, is also getting his own banner along with the introduction of a new character in the game, Rosaria. Alongside that, a new dating sim will also be added to the game. As players wait for the latest update to arrive, miHoYo is starting the testing phase for the next update, that is, Update 1.5. Here is what we know so far.

Genshin Impact 1.5 Update Testing: How to Sign-up
miHoYo has already announced that players can start signing up for the 1.5 Update Testing. To do so, they need to fill out a short form and if they are selected they will be able to try out the update. Players can sign up going to their official Discord sever here. It should be noted that players need to sign an NDA in order to take part in the testing phase. This means they aren’t allowed to share any information regarding the testing phase with anybody else. Sharing images, videos or any kind of content during the 1.5 Update testing phase could land them into trouble.
Genshin Impact 1.5 Update: Inazuma, Characters, Quests, and What Else to Expect
One of the most sought aspects of the next Genshin Impact update is in the introduction of the Inazuma region. However, it is highly unlikely that Inazuma will release in the 1.5 Update as almost all rumors point to the fact that the region will be added in the 1.6 Update. Instead, what’s likely to arrive in the 1.5 Update is a minor region, which can be The Chasm. The Chasm can already be seen in the game’s map, so we can expect it in the 1.5 Update.

Apart from that, there is a slew of characters that are slated to release in the 1.5 Update. Most leaks point to the fact that we will be getting Baizhu and Yaoyao in the game, which will make these two characters the first two Dendro characters to join the game. Alongside that, the Qiqi banner is also expected to arrive in the 1.5 Update. This will likely bring the Qiqi story quest as well which has been already leaked online.
