How Can You Follow Jesus and Assistance Donald Trump?

The media is fueling lies, and the world is listening.

This is demonstrated in a praise tune by Daniel Deitrich (talk about the incorrect location to express political views). Deitrich’s song is a reaction to the 81% of white evangelical Protestant voters who supported Donald Trump in 2016. Here are some of the lyrics: They started putting kids in cages. Ripping mothers from their children. And I wanted to you to speak on their behalf.

This, of course, remains in action to what is “viewed” as taking place at the border. The fact is, kids are not being put in cages and ripped from their mothers, as the tune accuses.

I assume that Mr. Deitrich is sincere and his heart really desires to assist individuals. We should get our realities from reliable sources or first-hand experience. God prepared, I’m exploring the border with other California pastors soon and want to get that perspective personally. (Search for that op-ed in mid-February).

We Christians enjoy refugees and immigrants and are eager to aid with food, accommodations, and jobs. At the national level, the president is to put the security and provision of the American people. When an aircraft loses cabin pressure, parents put on their oxygen masks first to better help their child. This isn’t selfishness; it’s knowledge. Opening the borders parallels cabin pressure falling and a limited supply of masks. Our law enforcement officers might not sustain the load, nor could our country. Let’s improve the procedure and welcome God-fearing immigrants and have them add to society so everyone benefits.

The push toward open borders is more about votes than really helping people. Open borders would be like me telling my kids to leave their windows open in case a stranger needs a warm night’s sleep. That would be serious parental neglect since numerous harmful things could also enter through those open windows. Open borders would parallel that type of irresponsibility.

In addition, our monetary system can not support individuals flooding in who need support. How is that utilizing wisdom? It’s not a matter of if this type of monetary irresponsibility triggers damage however when and how much. Our agents need to get up to this reality– and wake up quickly. There is a much better method, but our leaders need to repent and seek God for wisdom.

And we need to not let hatred blind us to truths. Or derangement to sidetrack from our country’s instructions.

Where is the Nation Headed? What are the Facts?

Some state, “How can you follow Jesus and Donald Trump?” We are not following a man, we are forming a motion. A much better question to be asking, however, is What instructions is the country heading? If a leader lacks Christian character however is pointing the nation back to God, is that a bad thing? If they are reducing killing infants and taking full advantage of godly values, is that a bad thing? If they are being a fear to terrorists and making America protect, is that a bad thing? If they are honoring difficult work and reducing free handouts, is that a bad thing?

God doesn’t evaluate a nation based upon the character of one male; He judges it based on the spiritual health of her people. Never forget that.

The majority of news outlets spin everything (yes, whatever) to put President Trump in a bad light. Their hatred for him surpasses the reality. Their program is easy and clear: eliminate him from workplace at any expense! And I hope you realize this: they are truly following you, me, and our Christian values.

>. Most critics do not care what the realities are. Their hatred for the president overshadows their desperate requirement for humility. Let this sink in: innocent kids are being secured, godly counsel is surrounding President Trump, fear is being limited, excellent judges are being picked, socialism is being resisted, families are being encouraged through employment (black work is at an all-time high), prayer is being revived in schools, God’s knowledge is being sought, and on and on it goes.

Again, we are not following a man, we are revitalizing a motion– a movement back to God. I’m more worried with our nation’s national character than I am with the president’s individual character.

There is No Plan B

An example that I typically use will bring this point house. The head of a neighborhood watch program, who took the late-night watches, had previously had an affair. He was occasionally gruff and spontaneous, and sometimes his words were crass and offensive, but he supervised the area diligently each night. Each week he invited church leaders into his home to wish him and his household and to seek their guidance. He often stood against others on the committee who wished to enact policies harmful to the area and to the children, such as promoting an open-door policy where residents were needed to enable anyone into their homes at all hours of the day for handouts.

Is this not the type of individual you would want leading your community watch? Does his past or his attitude matter more than the outcomes he is achieving? If you are intellectually sincere, the response is simple. In the very same method, the answer is basic for America.

Again, we are not voting for people based on how godly they are; we are voting for the future instructions of America: the right to life, the elevation of God’s Word back to its proper place, the consultation of conservative judges, protecting America and her borders, developing jobs, and improving the quality of life for all Americans.

As an individual observation, I have actually observed that those who oppose President Trump usually accept liberal faith. It makes one marvel what is genuinely leading them: worldly mandates or biblical principles.

I will close with what I specified in a brief op-ed: We can’t have our cake and eat it too– there is no middle ground for Christians today. You can pick a president who will wear a Planned Being a parent scarf at her inauguration or one of the many others who would seek to damage the America we understand and lead us down the primrose path of socialism– or worse. Or you can pick to back President Trump. There is no Plan B.
